What is Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a tried and tested system of complimentary medicine. The Chinese and other Eastern Cultures have been using acupuncture to restore, promote and maintain good health for thousands of years

At its simplest, this involves the insertion of very fine, single use, sterile and disposable needles at specifically chosen points, to stimulate the body’s own healing response and restore its natural balance

Acupuncture is now widely accepted and used all over the world and in the UK alone, there are currently over 2800 qualified Members registered with the British Acupuncture Council. All of whom have obtained degree level training in both traditional acupuncture and appropriate elements of Western Medical Sciences
